A. C. Crispin - star wars author

A. C. Crispin was an American science fiction author who contributed to the Star Wars Expanded Universe with several books. She was born on April 5, 1950, and passed away on September 6, 2013. Crispin's first Star Wars book, The Han Solo Trilogy: The Paradise Snare, was published in 1997 and covered Han Solo's early life, from his time as a slave to his first meeting with Chewbacca. She also wrote the second and third books in the trilogy, The Hutt Gambit and Rebel Dawn. In addition to her work on Star Wars, Crispin wrote numerous other novels, including the acclaimed space opera series, The Starbridge Chronicles.
