Star Wars: Jedi-the Dark Side is a trade paperback that collects the Jedi - The Dark Side comic book series. The story takes place before the events of The Phantom Menace and follows a young Jedi named Qui-Gon Jinn as he investigates a political crisis on the planet of Pijal. Along the way, he meets the young Padawan, Xanatos, who he takes on as his apprentice. However, Qui-Gon quickly realizes that Xanatos has a dark side, and their relationship becomes strained as they navigate the dangerous political landscape and attempt to uncover the truth behind the crisis.
