In this first book of the Jedi Quest series, the young Padawan learner, Anakin Skywalker, is assigned a mission to protect a senator's daughter. While on this mission, Anakin must navigate treacherous waters to keep her safe from the threats of the Separatists. Meanwhile, Anakin's Jedi Master, Obi-Wan Kenobi, is also on a mission to investigate rumors of a dangerous new weapon. As they face separate challenges, the two Jedi must use their skills and trust in each other to complete their missions and ultimately save the galaxy from destruction.
