Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back Novelization
Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back Novelization
Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back (paperback Novel) is a novelization of the movie of the same name. The book, written by Donald F. Glut, follows the story of the movie and expands on some of the characters and events. The novel starts with the evacuation of the Rebel base on Hoth and the pursuit of the Rebels by the Empire. The story then follows Luke Skywalker's journey to Dagobah to train with Jedi Master Yoda, while Han Solo and Princess Leia Organa evade the Empire and seek refuge in Cloud City. The book also includes scenes that were not in the movie, such as Luke building his new lightsaber and Han Solo's encounter with Boba Fett. The novelization adds depth and details to the characters and the story, making it an excellent companion to the movie.
