The Last Jedi (legends) is a novel written by Michael Reaves and Maya Kaathryn Bohnhoff. The book takes place in the Legends continuity after the events of Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. The story follows Jedi Knight Jax Pavan, one of the few Jedi survivors of the Great Jedi Purge, as he tries to evade the Empire's relentless pursuit and find a way to strike back against their oppressive regime. Along the way, Jax encounters a diverse cast of characters, including smugglers, droids, and fellow Jedi survivors, as he uncovers a conspiracy that threatens to undermine the very fabric of the galaxy. As he navigates the treacherous political landscape of the Empire, Jax must also confront his own demons and decide what it truly means to be a Jedi in a time of darkness.
