Young Jedi Knights: Heirs of the Force is the first book in a series by Kevin J. Anderson and Rebecca Moesta. The book follows Jacen and Jaina Solo, the twin children of Han Solo and Princess Leia, as they embark on a training mission at Luke Skywalker's Jedi academy on Yavin 4. While there, they discover that the spirit of the long-dead Sith Lord Exar Kun has been awakened and is trying to lure them to the dark side of the Force. Along with their new friends, Lowbacca and Tenel Ka, the twins must use their training to defeat the dark side and save the Jedi academy from destruction.
