Alan Dean Foster - star wars author
Alan Dean Foster is an American author of science fiction and fantasy novels, including several books in the Star Wars universe. He wrote the novelization of the original Star Wars film, as well as the first Star Wars spin-off novel, Splinter of the Mind's Eye. Foster is also known for his Humanx Commonwealth series, as well as his novelizations of other popular films such as Aliens and The Thing.
