Legacy of the Force: Bloodlines by Karen Traviss is the second book in the Legacy of the Force series. The book takes place 40 years after the events of Episode IV: A New Hope. The story follows Jacen Solo, now a Jedi Knight, as he embarks on a mission to prevent a violent civil war on the planet of Corellia. Meanwhile, his sister Jaina is sent to investigate the death of a journalist, and their uncle Luke Skywalker is forced to confront his own dark past. As the Solo family becomes further divided, a new villain emerges from the shadows, threatening the very fabric of the galaxy.
