The Old Republic: Deceived is a novel by Paul S. Kemp that takes place in the Old Republic era of the Star Wars universe. The story follows the Sith Empire as it launches a surprise attack on the Republic capital world of Coruscant, with the aim of destroying the Jedi Temple and wiping out the Jedi Order. The attack is led by the Sith Lord Malgus, who seeks to overthrow his own master and become the new Dark Lord of the Sith. But the Republic and the Jedi are not so easily defeated, and a small band of heroes must rise up to defend their home and prevent the Sith from claiming victory.
