The Star Wars The Dark Lord Trilogy is a series of three books that explores the character of Darth Vader and his journey towards becoming one of the most iconic villains in cinematic history. The first book, Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader, takes place immediately after the events of Revenge of the Sith, and follows Vader's attempts to come to terms with his new identity as a Sith Lord. The second book, Revenge of the Sith, is a novelization of the film of the same name, which chronicles the downfall of the Jedi Order and the rise of the Galactic Empire. The third book, Labyrinth of Evil, takes place in the days leading up to the events of Revenge of the Sith, and follows the adventures of Jedi Knights Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker as they attempt to foil the plans of the Separatists and their leader, General Grievous.
