Star Wars The Thrawn Trilogy

The Star Wars Thrawn Trilogy is a series of novels set in the Star Wars universe, written by Timothy Zahn. The trilogy includes the books Star Wars Heir to the Empire, Star Wars Dark Force Rising, and Star Wars The Last Command.
Heir to the Empire takes place five years after the events of Return of the Jedi and introduces Grand Admiral Thrawn, a brilliant military strategist and the last of the Emperor's warlords, who has emerged from the shadows to lead the remnants of the Empire in a bid to regain power.
Dark Force Rising continues the story as Thrawn's plan to revive the Empire gains momentum, and the New Republic faces new threats from within and without. Meanwhile, Luke Skywalker and his friends race to uncover a secret weapon that could turn the tide of the war.
The Last Command concludes the trilogy as Thrawn's final plan for victory comes to fruition, and Luke, Leia, and Han face their greatest challenge yet. Along the way, long-hidden secrets are revealed, and the fate of the galaxy hangs in the balance.
