Queen of the Empire is a novel by Karen Traviss set in the Star Wars universe. It is the fifth book in the Legacy of the Force series and follows the story of Jacen Solo as he continues his descent to the dark side of the Force. Jacen, now calling himself Darth Caedus, has taken control of the Galactic Alliance and is determined to bring peace to the galaxy through any means necessary. However, his actions have caused a rift between him and his sister, Jaina, who is now leading a rebellion against him. Meanwhile, the mysterious Sith Lady Lumiya watches from the shadows, waiting for the right moment to make her move.
