Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire is a multimedia project set between the events of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. The comic book adaptation follows the story of Dash Rendar, a smuggler and mercenary hired by the Rebellion to help them locate Han Solo, who has been frozen in carbonite and taken by the ruthless gangster, Jabba the Hutt. The story also features appearances by other iconic Star Wars characters such as Princess Leia, Darth Vader, and Boba Fett.
