Star Wars Shadows Of The Empire: Evolution is a Star Wars graphic novel written by Steve Perry and illustrated by Ron Randall. The story is set between the events of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi and centers around the crime lord Prince Xizor, who survived the destruction of his skyhook but was severely injured. Determined to reclaim his power and exact revenge on Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker, Xizor creates a new and deadly assassin called Guri, who is a hybrid of organic and cybernetic technology.
